Who We Are

Larry Allman, Vice-President and majority stockowner began working in the electrical field in 1968 after completing Electricity One through Seven at Rowan Technical Institute in Salisbury, NC.  Larry has eight years of on hand field experience, seven years management experience with Watson Electric Company, and as owner and Chief Executive Officer of Allman Electric Corporation since July 1983.

Larry has certificates of achievement from the following:

Associated General Contractors of America for supervisors job skills – 1980
Electrical Estimating and Contract Management – 1991
 In office 40 hour Management Consulting by George S. May; International Company Management  Consultants – 1993 and 250 hours in 1997
40 hours National Electrical Code Class – 1994
 Employee Attitudes with American Management Association- 1995
 16 hours Total Quality Management, Jack Miller Seminars- 2001
 16 hours Marketing For Construction- 2004
 Larry, also, attends continuing education for National Electrical Code, which is certified by the Board of Directors of Electrical Contracting for the state of North Carolina.

 
Rick Stephens, President, has worked in the electrical field since 1979.  He has maintained an Unlimited Electrical License since 1989.  Rick played an important part in the forming and start up of Allman Electric Corporation and than in 1984 became part owner.
Rick has certificates of achievement from the following:

Electrical Estimating and Contract Management for Commercial Electrical Const.
16 hours of continuing education for National Electrical Codes every  year
 40 hours National Code Class- 1989
 40 hours National  Code Class- 1994
 16 hours training for Quality Management by Jack Miller – 1999

COMMERCIAL, RESIDENTIAL, & SERVICE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Donnie Lowder, service supervisor, began his career with Allman Electric Corporation 17 years ago, starting as an electrician’s helper.  He graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1979 for Electrical Installation.
Donnie worked for Fayetteville City Schools Electrical Maintenance Dept. for 2 years before entering the U.S. Navy, where he served a four year tour of duty.  Before joining Allman Electric Corporation, he worked on Ft. Bragg, NC for 2 years with an electrical contractor rewiring schools.
